Providing Dignity & Hope
Quality clothing and unconditional love for the homeless and those in need throughout Nassau County and beyond.

Who was Chandler?
Chandler Cook, Michele Holbrook's son, was a compassionate young man known for his infectious laugh and smile. He had a generous spirit, always willing to help others, even strangers, by giving his last shirt or dollar. Despite living with the disease of addiction, Chandler's joy and kindness always left an impact on those who knew him or encountered him.
Chandler lost his battle to addiction on April 21, 2020, and his family's life was forever changed. Chandler's Hope Clothes Closet was started to honor Chandler's memory and legacy by supporting others as he did.
Who was Rachel?
On the side of the trailer, you'll see a star with the name Rachel in it. She and Chandler were very close in the last years of their lives. Rachel was a beautiful and talented young woman with a wondrous singing voice and a remarkable skill for music writing. Her heart was as big as the world, and she was always trying to rescue someone or an animal in need. She would have loved to be a part of Chandler's Hope, styling anyone shopping at the trailer, making them look stylish and "put-together".
Sadly, we lost her on January 30, 2023, to alcohol addiction. Parents, don't think that because your kids don't use drugs, you don't have to worry—alcohol can be just as deadly.

Community Outreach

Our Story
Chandler's Hope is a non-profit organization of dedicated individuals with a passion for helping those in need...especially the homeless and those struggling with addictions. There is no judgment and no questions are asked.
We provide quality clothing to these individuals by bringing our trailer to various locations throughout Nassau County, reaching up into SE Georgia and down into Duval and St John's Counties.
We are also available for emergency situations. We can bring families in crisis into the warehouse to choose clothing or take necessities to them. (After Hurricane Helene, we took thousands of pounds of clothing, water, bedding, and food to Georgia, North Carolina, and Tampa.)
